Liquor laws in Ontario don't allow the sale of alcohol from a mobile vehicle. In accordance with The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), the Special Occasion Permit and all alcohol must be purchased by the host.
From the AGCO website, Special Occasion Permits are required if you plan to serve or sell beverage alcohol at any location that is not a licensed establishment or a private place or residence. The event must qualify for a Special Occasion Permit under the criteria set out in the application.
Special Occasion Permits are for special events such as weddings, receptions, charitable fundraisers, community festivals and auctions. Permits are intended for occasional use only, not for ongoing profit-making purposes.

Everything we provide is fully insured. We carry both General Liability and Liquor Liability insurance to ensure a safe and worry-free experience. Plus, all our bartenders are Smart Serve certified, so you’re in good hands.
All you need to consider is obtaining a Special Occasion Permit if your event is in a public space, or event insurance (PAL). If you need assistance with the application process, we’re happy to help with that too!
You will only need a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) if your event is taking place on public property (e.g., Town Hall, Church, Event Venue, etc.). For events held on private property (e.g., backyard, cabin, farm, etc.), an SOP is not required.
For more details or to apply online, visit the AGCO website. And remember, we're always here to assist you with the application process if needed!
